AVALON GOLF CLUB Avalon Golf Course is a public course located on Barrenjoey Road at Avalon. The entrance to the course is off The Crescent Avalon. It was opened in October 1926 initially for private members and was sold to Warringah Council in 1956 becoming a public course thereafter. The course is made up of 9 holes with undulating fairways in amongst significant remnant vegetation and introduced species. There are also three heritage listed buildings on the course. Perfect for intimate weddings, corporate days and social events. Recently refurbished it is now a stylish and contemporary venue with beautiful surrounds and plenty of parking.
BILGOLA SLSC A private beach outlook, Bilgola Beach surf club offers a number of spaces that allow a transition throughout your function. You can start we pre drinks on the grassed area and move into the dining room where an open fire place is available for use. Collaroy Surf Club has a modern, up-to-date function room for hire, following an extensive refurbishment of the entire upstairs of the club. The club boasts a brand new bar area and a commercial sized kitchen with all new fittings. The function room has been completely remodelled, and can cater for cocktail style wedding receptions, anniversaries, etc. for up to 150 guests. Formal seated weddings hold up to 80 guests. The location is unsurpassed - right on the beach at Collaroy overlooking the surf, with a view from Long Reef to North Narrabeen, right up to Palm Beach. At night, the atmosphere at the club is just magic, with a superb view of the night sky and the sea and the smell of the salty air.
